Happy Halloween, or it was last night! I have taken a few days off the paint brush, to enjoy time with my kids and Husband. I have also starting trying things i have never done before...

Why haven't you ever had a Gallery Showing?

I saw a call for artists at a local Gallery and most of the time I just click "interested" and let the opportunities pass me by. Until now i have not felt like my Artwork was Gallery ready, maybe 1 or 2 pieces but not enough for a showing. Yesterday was the cut-off and last moment i decided to take the chance and send in my proposal. I do not know if they will choose me, but if they do, that would be exciting!!

How are you Marketing yourself?

I have never used Google Adwords for myself. I have never invested money into marketing myself. Currently, I am learning that it IS harder than i thought! I have friends who know Adwords like the back of their hand and i may have to reach out to them. So far this article was very helpful, (here).
